E-TEC Sales L.LC., Da-Tech and Indium Corporation recently held a workshop, Reliability of Pb-Free SMT Assemblies, at the Da-Tech facility in Ivyland, Pennsylvania. Marissa Oskarsen, President and CEO of E-TEC Sales, organizer of the event, said, “There is a lot of new information on lead-free assembly for high yields and reliability--information many assemblers don’t know. Connecting suppliers, technologists and practitioners enhances the information flow.”
Indium Corporation’s Dr. Lasky covered issues related to lead-free materials, assembly techniques, applications, regulations and reliability. His presentation drew upon original content from Indium Corporation, as well as from leading research from throughout the industry.
Da-Tech’s Quality Assurance Manager, David Steele, said, “Dr. Lasky’s 30 years of electronics assembly experience enabled us to take our successful and established lead-free assembly process to a new level. We appreciate E-TEC organizing this event.”
